Hi! I'm Alisha,
I'm a wife, soon-to-be mom, entrepreneur, and someone who believes deeply in the magic of exploring the world. I'm warm, honest, real, occasionally sarcastic (the good kind), and my goal is to make travel feel simple, approachable, and fun.
I live in Cabo San Lucas with my husband, who's from Colombia, and we've built a little life here for the time being! It's been beautiful, challenging, stretching, heart-opening, and honestly, a wild adventure in every sense of the word.
MY STORY
My love for travel started in college, when I spent six months studying abroad in San Sebastián, Spain. Those months changed me. I fell in love with a new version of myself, someone who was curious, confident, connected to the world in a way I never expected. I saw how travel opens your mind, your heart, and your understanding of who you are.
Years later, my husband and I made a big leap and moved to Cabo San Lucas. He's Colombian, and as we waited (and waited…) for his immigration process, we wanted a place where we could build a life together and still feel free to explore. Cabo became our home.
Living abroad has been both the best and hardest thing I've ever done.
The hardest parts? Missing family. Missing holidays, birthdays, the little life moments with your people. And all the "new normal" things no one tells you about when moving to a new country.
The best parts? The people, the culture, the slower pace, the ocean, the sunsets, the chance to rebuild a life from scratch. Living abroad forces you to strip everything back and realize how little you actually need to feel happy. It teaches you that less really is more.
I started this blog because I was craving a creative outlet and a sense of community, something I used to have when I taught spin classes for years in San Diego. I missed connecting with people, encouraging people, cheering people on. This space lets me blend my love of storytelling, travel, culture, logistics, and sharing everything I wish someone would've told me when I started.
I want to help you explore confidently, whether that means planning an incredible trip, moving abroad, exploring with your kids, or booking the girls' trip you've been talking about for years.
